MEKICS (CEO: Kim Jong-Chul) was selected as an innovative medical device company by the Ministry of Health and Welfare (Minister Park Neung-Hoo) on First of December. Based on its innovative technology, MEKICS has been recognized as a promising innovative leap forward company in future medical device industries in entering the global market, and has enjoyed a great success in becoming an innovative medical device company.

The first innovative medical device enterprise certification was applied by 102 companies, and 30 companies were finally selected after deliberation and resolution by the Committee for Promotion and Support of the Medical Device Industry. This certification is valid for three years from the date of certification (Days until 1 December 2020 to 30 November 2023), and may benefit from preferential treatment of government-supported projects, easing of tax regulations and policy support.
